Choral Singing For Pleasure

This course is designed for adults who want to sing for the fun of it without feeling unduly pressured.  Some familiarity with music (staff) notation is assumed but high level sight-reading skills are not needed, as daily rehearsals will be led by the tutors who are experienced and supportive professional singers.

Repertoire will include:

Sacred	Bainton	And I saw a new heaven
	Harris	Faire is the heaven
	Howells	Like as the hart
	Stainer	I saw the Lord
Secular	Bennett	“Nonsense”
	Dove	Who killed Cock Robin?

Course members will also be welcome to participate in the Open Choir session which will perform Duruflé's Requiem. The course will give its own concert conducted by Graham Trew.
